Wow! What a turnout we had to our Zeppelin talk! We were a little concerned we would have to start turning people away but thankfully we had (just) enough seats to accomodate everyone! A huge thank you to all the volunteers and to the attendees - you helped to raise over £400 for the museum!

Our next talk, , will take place on the 1st December at the Chantry Centre (Chantry Way). Doors at 7.15 for a 7.30 start with a mid-talk refreshment break. Tickets are £4, refreshments £1 and payment is on the door (cash only at the moment). To reserve your seats drop us a line. We will have some brand new merchandise available - just in time for Christmas!
Would you like a private talk for your group? Just let us know!
opening times
Tuesday: 1-5pm
Wednesday: 1-5pm
Please note: we will be closed on the 2nd and 3rd December. Apologies for the inconvenience. We will be open for the Billericay Christmas market (7th December) and again on the 9th and 10th.
If you would like to see the museum open more often please consider volunteering!
In summer we close the museum if external temperatures reach 30c. We have a winter closure period (mid-December to early March) that allows us to undertake our annual deep clean!
Groups (8+ visitors) can visit outside of these hours. Drop us a line via our contact form to organise a group visit.
support us
We are an independant museum, this means we do not receive regular government (local or national) funding.
Donations from visitors and patrons help to ensure the museum remains free to enter. Donations also go towards keeping our collections safe, putting on new displays, running our events programme, and much more!
